Responsibilities
El Gaucho restaurant in Portland is seeking a high energy valet to join our incredible team.
Our guest experience starts and ends with impeccable valet service.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of exceptional relationship-oriented customer service and effective interpersonal communication skills. The desire to further develop your individual talents and an eagerness to learn the true essence of the hospitality profession are both a must.
General responsibilities include:
- Greeting and welcoming arriving guests
- Opening car doors and escorting guests safely into restaurant
- Safely driving, parking, moving and retrieving guest vehicles
- Organizing, securing and storing guest car keys
- Explaining valet parking procedures
- Basic understanding of restaurant and neighborhood
- Communication with management team
- Hospitality-forward mindset
- Upkeep of sidewalk and valet area
- Maintaining a clean, professional and groomed appearance
- Ability to exhibit professional demeanor under stress
Hours include Tuesday through Saturday evenings.
Qualifications:
- Experience preferred
- Valid US driver s license
- Safe driving record
- Proficient in operating manual and stick shift vehicles
Compensation: $16-$25-Hourly | DOE
