El Gaucho Hiring Valet

El Gaucho restaurant is seeking a high energy valet to join our incredible team.

Our guest experience starts and ends with impeccable valet service.

The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of exceptional relationship-oriented customer service and effective interpersonal communication skills. The desire to further develop your individual talents and an eagerness to learn the true essence of the hospitality profession are both a must.

 

General responsibilities include:

 

• Greeting and welcoming arriving guests
• Opening car doors and escorting guests safely into restaurant
• Safely driving, parking, moving and retrieving guest vehicles
• Organizing, securing and storing guest car keys
• Explaining valet parking procedures
• Basic understanding of restaurant and neighborhood
• Communication with management team
• Hospitality-forward mindset
• Upkeep of sidewalk and valet area
• Maintaining a clean, professional and groomed appearance
• Ability to exhibit professional demeanor under stress

 

Hours include Tuesday through Saturday evenings.

 

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred
• Valid US driver's license
• Safe driving record
• Proficient in operating manual and stick shift vehicles

Compensation: Minimum Wages [based on location $15.95-19.97] + plus tips

El Gaucho Seattle Hiring Host

 

Our Front Desk Hosts serve as a key figure in our guests’ overall impression of the restaurant as the first and last person the guest communicates with (in person and/or by telephone). Professionalism, efficiency and a friendly and welcoming manner are sought-after traits for this role. This position focuses on maximizing the sales volume of the restaurant by facilitating and orchestrating the intake and flow of guest reservations. Core duties include managing reservations and guest inquiries, assignment of tables and service stations to staff and collecting, inputting and updating guest data. Front Desk team members are also responsible for taking and ringing in to-go orders and handling payment. Providing the highest quality of service to guests requires a hospitality-driven skillset where anticipation of guests needs comes first.  

 Compensation: $22-$28 Hourly |DOE
