The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Enrollment and Marketing, you will be responsible to develop and manage strategy, research, planning, budgeting, and implementation of advertising & marketing initiatives, both traditional and digital, for student lead generation, post enrolment student and job placement marketing for all brands in the triOS Education Group, which include: triOS College (triOS), Eastern College (Eastern), and Centre for Distance Education (CDEd).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment; provide leadership, inspiration and guidance in attracting, hiring, coaching, retaining and motivating a high-performance team.

  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and partnerships to enhance marketing efforts and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

  • Develop, implement, manage, and report on marketing budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Manage budget variances and optimize investments in marketing performance.

  • Provide qualitative and quantitative marketing reporting to management on a monthly and quarterly basis for both traditional and digital marketing.

  • Ensure the Marketing team’s digital tactics align to business objectives and key priorities.

  • Develop and manage the implementation of the digital advertising strategy to generate leads and brand awareness to potential students through Google and other lead generation systems.

  • Lead the Digital Marketing Specialists in the ongoing management of digital marketing lead generation campaigns.

  • Oversee the management of online campaign budgets, monthly estimations, and schedules.

  • Oversee creative direction on branding and messaging. Provide direction to Marketing Manager, Creative Lead, and contractors as needed for sourcing and managing relationships with various creative media design resources for print, web and digital.

  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of advertising strategy.

  • Competitive research on Private Career Colleges and independent training facilities to determine advertising and marketing strategies for admissions, compelling differentiators and determine how triOS and Eastern can sell against them.

  • Develop a strong measurement, tracking, and testing culture within the Marketing Team to create efficiencies and improve performance of individual and collective tactics.

  • Lead the project to develop and build online enrollment portal from a triOS-Eastern perspective.

  • Build the pre-online enrollment web and student user experience tools on our website.

  • Develop and promote Brand Guidelines and key Brand attributes throughout the organization and in all messaging.

  • Manage and provide overall oversight for all customer-facing websites; lead all custom website development for all owned domains, including triOS.com, easterncollege.ca, triosonline.com, paralegaldiploma.com, secondcareer.com, etc.

  • Provide oversight and direction for the development of Communications Plan including blog and twitter sites etc. to promote the triOS and Eastern brands and programs to potential students, current students, alumni, and employers.

  • Lead and manage all Social Media content and strategy to enhance awareness of our value proposition, maintain a positive Brand image, and reinforce key Brand attributes.

 Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferably in business, marketing, or public relations.

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience is required as well as a demonstrated ability to motivate staff.

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in marketing and design, with specific experience delivering traditional and digital marketing programs, promotions, and marketing campaigns.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing brands.

  • Extensive knowledge and skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Commitment to client satisfaction.

  • Experienced in business to consumer marketing and/or services marketing.

  • Strong analytical orientation and experience in using data to drive customer acquisition, retention, frequency.

  • Experience with Google Adwords and Google Analytics.

  • Experience with marketing automation software and content marketing initiatives.

  • Experience with social media including Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills to thrive in a fast paced, on-time deliverable environment.

  • Experience in media buying and all traditional and digital media buying opportunities.

  • Knowledge of the Private Career College industry in Ontario would be considered an asset.

  • A reliable vehicle, valid provincial driver’s license, and credit card. Occasional travel between triOS & Eastern campuses as well as employer partner sites is required.

  • A designated home office with a strong internet connection is required.
