What you’ll be doing:
- Provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Sterile Technician program.
- Utilize a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment.
- Responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends to enhance the learning experience.
- Support the vision, mission, and values of Eastern College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
What you bring to the position:
- Minimum of two (2) years practical Sterile Technician experience after certification.
- Pharmacy Technician who is Certified in Sterile Compounding and works at a Hospital Pharmacy.
- Must have Sterile certification in the Province of Nova Scotia.
- Currently practicing as a Sterile Technician.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Professionalism combined with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.

Base Salary: $30.00
