EXPERIENCED Field Technician

Intek Communications Inc. is looking to fill the position of Field Service and Installation Technician with an applicant that has previous Rogers field experience.  The Field Service and Installation Technician will primarily be responsible to inspect, test and repair cable signals and replace faulty cables, power supplies, digital boxes, modems, amplifiers, and associated equipment as well as install, connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets, digital boxes and modems. The Field Service and Installation technician will always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Intek Communications Inc. is looking to fill the position of Human Resource Manager who, under the direction of the General Manager, will primarily be responsible to identify current and prospective staffing requirements, overseeing full cycle recruitment, overseeing personnel management, developing and maintaining company policies, and procedures, managing disability and return to work claims, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies. This role will also oversee the orientation/onboarding of new hires and the training of all employees. This is a full-time, permanent position is located in Markham, Ontario, and reporting to the office daily is required.

Job Duties

 

• Determine staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of staff

• Oversee personnel management, including wage increases, promotions, and terminations in compliance with company policies

• Oversee the orientation/onboarding of new hires and the training of all employees

Job Requirements

 

• Minimum Five years of experience in human resources or a management role, preferably in a medium sized private sector, non-unionized company

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation specific to Federally regulated industries

Intek Communications Inc. is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Assistant (part-time) who, under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, will primarily be responsible to inspect and verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off; reject damaged goods. This position will provide feedback to management shipment issues, mechanical problems, or delivery problems. This role will also resolve any cases of missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries.
