Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Specialist, under the direction of the HR Coordinator, will primarily be responsible for the full cycle of recruitment located at our Markham office.



  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education in the Human Resource or Business field would be considered an asset
  • Health & Safety in enthusiast
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Recruit graduates from colleges, universities, and other educational institutions
  • End to end recruiting: prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applications, advise job applicants on the terms and conditions of employment and notify applicants of results of selection process
  • Prescreen candidates and conduct interviews with the Regional Manager and Supervisors
  • Facilitate orientation process and ensure proper data entry for new hires.
  • Draft memoranda, correspondence, policies, reports, proposals, job descriptions, and other employment documentation
  • Support HR initiatives & other events
  • Create and post content for company social media accounts promoting open positions and events
  • Create and monitor job postings on Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Company Appreciation Day
