Customer Service Representative/ Front Desk
Please note: we are currently looking for applicants who have availability either 6:30-1PM or 12PM to 6:30PM.

At Reynolds Dog Resort West Linn, we're seeking a warm and friendly Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our valued clients and their furry friends. In this role, you'll be responsible for greeting customers with a smile, answering questions about our services, and helping to ensure every pet and pet parent has a fantastic experience with us.
What You'll Do:
- Say Hello! Cheerfully greet pets and their humans when they arrive at our resort.
- Client Communication: Answer phone calls and emails with a positive attitude, providing helpful information about our boarding, grooming, and daycare services; Provide basic information about pet care and resort policies to clients, always keeping a customer-focused approach.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage reservations to keep our resort running smoothly.
- Daily Front Desk Operations: Assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring pets have everything they need for a comfortable stay; Check dogs into daycare, boarding, and grooming
- Maintaining Documents: Contact veterinarians to get vaccine or other needed information regarding pets in our care; Work with our kennel software to book appointments, make notes on client and pet profiles, and obtain relevant information as needed.
- Communicating with Back-of-House Staff: Communicate with grooming and kennel staff regarding dogs as they check in and their needs
- Running Dogs: Escort our furry friends to play areas/kennels/etc.
- Organization and Office Maintenance: Responsible for the overall cleanliness/appearance of our front office; Vacuum/sweep and mop daily or as needed, clean windows, wipe down counters; keep desk, papers, etc. clean and organized
- Represent Your Village: Always be thoughtful of the appearance of the office and yourself through the eyes of our clients.

- Excellent communication skills: Phone, interpersonal, and written, with proper spelling and grammar, and a professional and friendly demeanor
- Team Player: Works together well with others to make sure all our guests are cared for and pet parents satisfied!
- Customer Service Background: Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, but not required—but a drive to meet and exceed client expectations is paramount
- Flexibility: A flexible schedule. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Organized: Attention to detail and great organizational skills to keep track of the varying needs of your Village
- Physical Stamina: Able to handle/transport dogs of all sizes by leash, and to keep upright and busy throughout a hectic shift
- Dog Lover: Passion for working with animals a must!

At Reynolds Dog Resort West Linn, we're looking for an enthusiastic and caring Kennel Tech/Daycare Attendant to join our team!
If you're ready to play, cuddle, and ensure a pawsitively fantastic time for our furry guests, this job could be a perfect fit for you! Available shifts are from 6AM-3PM and from 3PM-10:30PM. Currently offering part time positions only.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise Playtime: You'll oversee monitoring the play area, ensuring all pets are playing safely and having a blast. Whether they're chasing balls, climbing obstacles, or splashing in the pool, you'll keep a watchful eye on their activities.
- Organize Fun Activities: Keep the day lively and exciting by organizing games, agility courses, and other fun activities that engage our daycare pets. You'll get to know their personalities and create experiences that suit their energy levels and interests.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and safe environment is key. You'll be responsible for cleaning up after pets, sanitizing play equipment, and ensuring the play area is free from hazards.
- Socialization and Interaction: Pets need attention and affection, and that's where you come in! You'll be interacting with pets, giving them plenty of pets and belly rubs, and helping them socialize with other animals.
- Behavior Observation: You'll watch for signs of stress or aggression and take steps to keep the daycare environment harmonious. This includes separating pets if needed and working with the team to address any behavior issues.
- Communication with Pet Owners: You'll update pet owners about their pets' activities and behavior during daycare. This might include sending photos or videos to show off their pets' fun day!
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work with other daycare attendants, grooming staff, and kennel attendants to ensure seamless operations and excellent care for all our furry guests.
What You'll Need:
- Love for Animals: A genuine passion for pets and their well-being is necessary. You should be comfortable interacting with various breeds and sizes.
- Communication Skills: You'll be talking with pet owners and other team members, so clear and friendly communication is essential.
- Physical Stamina: The role involves being active, standing, and playing with pets for extended periods. You should be able to lift and carry moderate weights as needed.
- Problem-Solving Skills: If issues arise, such as pets not getting along, you'll need to find quick solutions to maintain a safe and happy environment.
- Team Spirit: You'll be working as part of a close-knit team, so a collaborative and positive attitude is important.
