Dog Bather

We are looking for a friendly dog bather to join our passionate team of pet lovers.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs bath functions as requested by the client and described on the groom card.
  • Dematting and detangling hair as needed.
  • Trims nails, brushes teeth, and cleans ears in a safe manner and as trained.
  • Bathe, dry, and brush out dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Clean and disinfect bathing station, tools, tubs, and cages between pets and at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the receptionist informed about pets that are ready for pick-up.
  • Identifying health issues such as ear infections, skin conditions or tooth decay and communicating it to the pet owner.
  • Ensuring a safe grooming process and work environment.
  • Educating customers and recommending suitable products.
  • Assist with laundry in the facility.

Requirements:

  • Previous pet care experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Effectively communicate with pet parents and other staff members
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Must be able to handle dogs on leashes
  • Must be able to work in environment with exposure to disinfectants/cleaning solutions, animal dander, and excretions.
  • Must be able to be on feet for eight hours a day.

Base Salary: $14.00

Kennel Attendant

My Three Dogs on Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant is looking for a full or part time kennel technician to join our team! We host dogs of all shapes and sizes for dog boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare, and are looking for a dog lover with a flexible schedule and a desire to grow with our company. If you love dogs, have a passion for their care, and don't mind getting a little dirty, you might be the right one for the role! Responsibilities include: 

  • Overseeing a playgroup of dogs and managing their behavior and playtime as your primary focus. 
  • Learning animal behavior in order to provide a safe environment, including studying canine body language and learning how to make dogs comfortable in a kennel and playgroup environment.  
  • Managing the cleanliness of our kennels and play areas and maintaining the highest possible cleaning standards. Cleaning toys, washing dishes, mopping floors, vacuuming hair, and taking care of unpleasant doggy messes are critical aspects of the job! 
  • Use common sense to solve problems as it relates to dogs in our care. 
  • Work with initiative to take on an array of tasks in our center. 
  • Communicating effectively with other team members—working at a doggie daycare is fun, but only if everyone is on the same page! 
  • Physical activity—must be able to safely lift 50 lbs, work on your feet for multiple hours at a time, and get around in all types of weather. This is a physically demanding role. 
  • Must have basic customer service skills and be able to follow our safety protocols. 
  • Must love dogs. We have a lot of them!
