Position Description:

SALARY RANGE: $46,945- $61,026                STATUS: Classified; Non-Exempt
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
<ul>
<li>Perform clerical duties as required to address the needs of the CCVSC.</li>
<li>Answer telephone calls and emails as received; provide information to callers as required. </li>
<li>Provide client referrals to CCVSC Veteran Service Officers for the evaluation and filing of claims to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.</li>
<li>Make appropriate client referrals to social workers and other helping organizations, such as Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing, Heating and Energy Assistance Program, food stamps, etc.</li>
<li>Attend agency and divisional meetings, including all specified in-service education events.</li>
<li>Greet all visitors.</li>
<li>Assess the need and/or nature of each individual’s visit.</li>
<li>Assign accordingly in eVetAssist.</li>
<li>Process all bus ticket requests.</li>
<li>Process furniture bank requests as required. </li>
<li>Function as a screener, as needed.</li>
</ul>
