At El Gaucho Bellevue, our Bar Backs are an essential part of the service team. Working alongside bartenders, servers, and support staff, you help maintain the pace and flow of service while contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Support bartenders by maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked work areas throughout service
- Restock glassware, ice, mixers, and other bar necessities
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar and service areas
- Collect and transport glassware and service items as needed
- Work closely with bartenders and service staff to ensure efficient and seamless service
- Maintain company standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality
Cross-Training Opportunity
This position is designed as a flexible support role within our service team. Team members will be trained to assist in both Bar Back and Busser capacities and may be scheduled in either role based on operational needs. This collaborative approach allows team members to support both the bar and dining room while contributing to a consistently exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Hospitality experience preferred, but not required
