About the Opportunity

Support Ontario Youth (SOY) is proud to partner with Langstaff & Sloan who is seeking a motivated and reliable 3^rd year Electrical Apprentice to join their team in Etobicoke, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice who is passionate about working in the Residential field and wants to expand their electrical knowledge, gain real-world experience, and grow within a professional, safety-focused electrical company. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Journeyman Electricians in installing wiring, conduit, and electrical components for new construction, renovations, and service work.
• Support the mounting of device boxes, fixtures, and equipment according to electrical drawings and code requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision, ensuring safe and effective solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site, keeping tools, materials, and equipment ready for use.
• Gather, transport, and prepare materials needed for daily operations.
• Adhere to company safety standards and all Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) and Ontario Electrical Code regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and clients to ensure work is completed efficiently and to high standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered 3^rd year Electrical Apprentice
• Residential experience – preferred
• Commercial experience 
• Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must possess personal hand tools suitable for electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn from experienced electricians.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $25- $35/ hour
