309A Electrician - Construction and Maintenance

Zeus Electrical Systems is looking for an experienced 309A Electrician to join our team in a Lead Electrician role.

We’re a growing electrical contractor based in Georgetown, working across residential, commercial, service, renovation, generator, EV, and larger construction projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

This isn’t simply a position for someone looking to show up and complete assigned tasks. We’re looking for an electrician who can take ownership of projects, lead work in the field, and grow with the company.

The Role As a Lead Electrician, you’ll be responsible for independently running electrical projects and service work while helping oversee and develop apprentices. Typical work includes:
• Residential and commercial service work
• Renovations and additions
• Electrical service and panel upgrades
• EV charger installations
• Generator installations
• Commercial maintenance and facility work
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Larger residential and commercial projects
• Coordination with customers, contractors and other trades

What We’re Looking For:

You must be a licensed 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician in Ontario.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:
• Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship
• Can run projects independently
• Can effectively lead and mentor apprentices
• Troubleshoots confidently
• Communicates professionally with customers and contractors
• Understands the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements
• Plans ahead and identifies material or project requirements
• Takes ownership when something goes wrong
• Understands that the job isn’t finished until the customer and project are taken care of
• Can represent Zeus professionally when working independently

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Compensation $45–$50/hour, based on experience, capabilities and level of responsibility. Compensation and responsibilities can grow as the position develops.

Where This Can Go We’re not looking to fill a temporary manpower shortage. Zeus is building its field operations for the long term, and we’re looking for someone who wants the opportunity to grow alongside the company. For the right person, this position has the potential to develop beyond Lead Electrician into Field Supervisor / Field Operations leadership as the company continues to add crews and larger projects.
