Keyeux Electrix Inc – Licensed Electrician (Construction & Maintenance) – Windsor-Essex

Keyeux Electrix Inc. is a small, family-owned electrical contractor serving Windsor-Essex. We’re looking for a qualified Electrician – Construction and Maintenance (309A) who is confident in troubleshooting/diagnostics and can scope and quote jobs for residential and commercial clients.

Hourly wage will be based on experience. $30-$45 /Hour

Electrical systems include, but are not limited to, service work, renovations, new builds, lighting upgrades, power distribution, communication/control systems, and related electrical equipment.

Specifically, an Electrician – Construction and Maintenance with Keyeux Electrix:

• Lays out, assembles, installs, repairs, maintains, connects and/or tests electrical systems in residential and commercial settings

• Plans installations from drawings, sketches and specifications, and installs electrical and electronic devices to applicable code requirements

• Systematically diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic components and completes effective repairs (service-focused troubleshooting)

• Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways, conductor enclosures and supports

• Splices and terminates electrical conductors and completes device/panel terminations neatly and safely

• Tests electrical and electronic equipment to verify correct operation and documents/communicates findings as required

• Assesses job scope on-site and prepares quotes (materials + labour), clearly explaining recommended work to customers

• Maintains a clean, professional jobsite and communicates effectively with clients and team members

Nice to have (asset): EV charger installations, generators/transfer switches, and lighting controls/smart devices.

Requirements:

• Valid 309A Certificate of Qualification (Construction & Maintenance) and/or Red Seal (asset)

• Must be listed on the Skilled Trades Ontario Public Register (as applicable)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (no company truck provided)

• Strong customer communication skills and professionalism (you’ll represent the company on-site)

• Professional references are required (supervisors/foremen preferred). We’ll request 2–3 references from shortlisted applicants.

About the trade (Ontario):
Electrician – Construction and Maintenance is a regulated trade in Ontario. Qualified individuals may obtain a Certificate of Qualification confirming skills, knowledge and experience that meet industry standards. The trade is part of the Interprovincial Red Seal Program under the title Construction Electrician.
